ha the money is nothing here and not much of a concern to me. Actually the GAC center was just a very small portion of this schools business...and lets be clear..all these places are business first... Owen has actually severed the ties with the Chinese school it was contracted with. The only reason I join this conversation was because of comments made against me. I have worked very hard to help the teachers at this school including my own son who teaches here. I must say that a large number of teachers in China are here for the party and are not very serious. That really is bad for those great teachers who really care and try to do a good job teaching and try to enjoy life. To suggest that I am involved in a scam is really stupid. If you want to come to China to teach it is important to know what you are getting into. If you sign a contract you should not complain later about what is in the contract...READ IT FIRST! If you take a job washing cars then do not complain when somebody gives you a car to wash. I do take a lot of heat sometimes for protecting the interests of the foreign teachers and I sometimes take heat from teachers for upholding contracts but that is the job I signed up for. I have worked in other schools where there was no buffer between the teachers and the owners and management and it was not fun. Say what you will but you do not know me and do not know what I have done but the teachers do and I have their support...for the most part....
