For most of us who come to China and work, we come knowing full well it's not a career move and it's not going to be a proper job (we can earn more than 10,000 RMB staying home and cleaning out toilets for the local council) No, we come not to slave away but to do a little work and have a good time; hoping also that we can help some Chinese learn English along the way.(Bear in mind, you are employed as a white monkey, Chinese actually teach most of the English)

Most of us arrive with a degree of sorts and perhaps a TEFL. None of us arrive with a diploma on dealing with exceedingly tricky, underhand and unfriendly people, of which you'll find a wall to wall assortment at Witty's hallowed glass halls.

The problem is for any hopeful who fancies getting a job in China is that Witty is about average in the way they treat both their Chinese and white monkey staff.

My suggestion is get a university job (even that can be trouble sometimes)- less but better pay because you'll work fewer hours and get paid for holidays. The same applies, you will only be employed for promotional reasons- you will remain a white monkey, but that's okay if there's no agro.
