Yep, I agree, and perhaps foreign teachers should be advised to support each other when outfits like Witty are trying to do them out of money {travel reimbursements, days off that were worked, lies by omission in contracts} take your pick. Too often I've witnessed how the schools drive a wedge between both foreigners and Chinese staff, and individuals are left to try and deal with things on their own. We must be aware that just because one day they give you bilge about what a good teacher you are doesn't mean they won't turn on you when it suits them. White monkeys unite, that's what I say.

Also, we shouldn't be brainwashed by "when in Rome etc.-- that the Chinese love to quote, otherwise we'll all be spitting (like the ex-chicken farmer Witty owner does) or trying to kill pedestrians.
