First,let me start with their employment advertisment. It states 120,000 rmb a year inclusive which is impossible to earn at this small company which uses policies and rules to take away your salary. They don't mention that if either party breaks the contract for any reason there will be a hugh penalty of 6-10,000 rmb and if you are 5 minutes late or more for any reason they will begin subtracting money from your salary starting from 5rmb up to 50rmb. If you forget to wear your name badge it will cost you 5 rmb, if you don't complete an assignment the charges are 500rmb per day. In fact they don't mention they hold one months salary from the start of the your employment so they will attempt to find a way for you to forfiet this amount upon your final month of your contract. The profit sharing is a lie as no foreign teacher has ever recieved it. I have only once earned my 7,000 rmb a month salary as promised. There is a high turn over of employees who have never received payment for their employment and salaries are often days or even weeks late. You have to use your on money to make copies and beg for reinbursement. This is true for transportation costs incurred to reach a teaching site. Overall, it was a terrible experience for me. In addittion, when I decided to resign I was threatend, followed and harrassed. Finally, I had to approach my embassy which suggested that I resign and they had knowlege of illegal activites and a high number of complaints by this company. To summerize, I would strongly suggest anyone not to work for this company. It will only cause you greif in the long run. If you decide to resign, you may in fact owe them money which can barr you from working in China. Beware!
