Stephen Cho lies to people saying that the boss pays and is friendly. The owner does not pay his teachers and currently has fired 2 teachers in their 11th month. Stephen Cho is an investor in the school so he has a conflict of interest with the school. Expect mental abuse, schedules that always change, unfriendly working staff and apartment utility bills that are not paid but are deducted from your pay check. Also the owner has not paid his staff for 3 months and brags about it. He says that he can just change his name and his school to continue his practice of hiring people and then working them for a few months and making it so unbearable that they will quit and he won't have to pay for the return airfare. No health insurance and he lies to the Pension office about your salary. Also the air conditioning in the staff room is turned off if there are foriegners there. He holds grudges and will not let you have a sick day. I knew 2 teachers which of whom took a sick day and were let go within the next month. If you want to work at a school in Korea go to the public schools do not work at any of this guy's schools in Korea. This includes the schools that are advertised on Eduorange on Dave's ESL cafe at the locations of Gwacheon and Joonang and Hanyang University at Ansan. He cares nothing about foreigners only ripping them off. I was promised I would be teaching one age group but the first day I was given another.Currently the school is going broke so I would steer clear of these hagwons in Korea. He hires illegal teachers that have no work visa to substitute for when he fires people. Although he breaks the immigration law he will blacklist you with immigration if you work with him.
