The fact that you do not know anyone by the name of "Jeff" does not mean that the person is a fake and the report he has given is not true. Many people decide to use aliases to protect their privacy, something you won't probably understand anyway; the value of privacy is unknown and has never been respected in China.

I use an alias to protect me ! This person Wendy,Cynthia, or whatever the choosen name, is also probably trying to keep their true identity a secret. NOT USING HIS HER CORRECT NAME.

Westerners will use an alias to protect themselves so they will not get threats, have their name blackened.
managers and CT's alike who work for crap schools also use an alias, they too wish to hide their identity but for different reasons, they cheat, lie, and use others.
