I feel sorry that you had bad feelings about what you experienced from Sept. 18, 2006 to Jun. 4, 2007 in Korea. I think that most teachers who stay to teach English in Korea are doing good for their jobs but a few teachers have bad experiences because they dont do their work correctly or suffer to overcome the cultural differences.
I would like to explain the problems happened due to your misunderstandings. As you said It was fine for six months, there were no problems in general. However, after you were assulted by a stranger(He went to jail), the serious problems happened to you and a academy. Do you remember what I told you a few times Drunken people are under a dangerous situation even in the United States, becaue I was worried about you. I remember you are a good and social person. So you are sometimes very late to come back to your apartment(from midnight to 5:00 am).
- You mentioned I called the policemen. It is not true. They visited me to investigate the assult. I also didnt want the police moving around the academy. Why?
- The apartment is shared apartment(among 4 bedrooms, one is used to store academys stuff). As you know, I visited your place very often to know you were fine after the assult(to give you groceries, Jook(Korean soup), to ask you to visit a hospital, or to know your conditions, etc.)
- I didnt told you Your friends are not allowed to be there but I asked you if possible, no later than 10:00 pm because of your neighbor on the same floor.
- After the accident, you left suddenly your position. Did you think how much damages to a academy? I understood your hard time but you couldnt teach your classes(absent often) as you did before. Lack of teachers gives serious problems to academys evaluation. In order to invite a new teacher, it takes at least one month. Ask other directors, which one is better?
- I gave you 300,0000 won with a favor on Saturday just 2 days before you left without knowing your sudden absence because I understood your difficult situation. Think about how much time I spent, because of the accident, to meet people related and to take care of you even though you are not satisfied.
- You didnt return the brand new cellphone to me. You gave it to your friend. I think its illegal.

I feel not good the bad things happened around me but I couldnt prevent the unexpected crime. I dont want anything from you but the truth should be based on the truth.
