This getting to be like a game of ping-pong in tit for tat mode but with an overwhelming majority of tits instead of tats.

Bloggsie, open wide and say 'ahhhh!' Do you feel better now! That was quite a serve you sent us!

You are absolutely right Turnoi; just imagine life without Mickey Mouse, movies without visuals, radio without sound, learning Chinese unassisted without an accompanying CD programme, IELTS exams without a listening module, ESL without C.A.L.L. modules, just imagine in the modern era a sales presentation without a smart phone and a portable projector, just imagine if Bill Gates remained a dropout, ... I can imagine what it would be like ... heavenly ... then all things would be perfect.

Perhaps we might consider that this argument is not about a company, it is about a culture that is foreign to us. Many I know of have met fate at all levels of this industry from stae level institutions right through to independent institutes and recruiters. Changing such culture can be likened to asking a Muslim fundamentalist to not bow to Allah, or asking Elvis not to sing Rock and Roll.
Is it possible to consider that, when one finally accepts that the world will not change for one invidual, neither can one individual change the world, then we can settle for less than our perfect ideals, focus wholly on the task at hand and make the necessary changes within ourselves to adapt and make the most of every circumstance we find ourselves in.
In order to balance that perspective though, we should have the wisdom, courage and intestinal fortitude to 'lay the cards on the table' and change what we can't accept or accept what we can't change. If neither of those can be achieved with a balanced equilibrium to satisfy one's mortal sense of direction, then of course we can vote with our feet and move to another sphere of intelligence. Welcome to ESL, where perfection is surrealism and imperfection is modistically a realism.

Soldier on!
