DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY COMMENTS ON THE EF SCHOOL IN XIAN,I HAVE HEARD BAD THING ABOUT EF SCHOOL AND HOPE THAT THE ONE IN XIAN IS AN EXECEPTION TO THE RULE.

I presume you've got a job offer from said "school", or "training center", to be more precise"! That said, bear in mind there are always exceptions to the rule, but they tend to be few and far between. In the event of no enlightenment re said TC from our fellow readers, you could risk it for a biscuit by taking up the job offer if you're adventurous enough to do so. However, I wouldn't advise arriving there on an L visa if I were you. Who knows what kind of shysters are in charge? You could lose lots of cash by going there - you're vulnerable with an L visa there, ie requiring favors from them visa-wise, which might well not be forthcoming, and likely to be heavily dependent on your teaching prowess in their eyes! Said prowess will likely be judged on your entertainment value in class rather than your teaching ability. Many foreign blokes have come a cropper at TC's. So, tread warily in China, my friend. EFL in the private sector can be a minefield for the uninitiated!
