I'm not sure there is an exception in the case of English first. I had some limited exposure to this place when I first arrived here, but it was enough to cement my opinion. That and the hundreds, if not thousands of complaints I have spotted over the years all over the net. This school has such a bad reputation I find it amazing that people will still sign to work there. A simple search using any search engine will produce horror stories aplenty. I don't doubt there may be some isolated schools in this chain that "might" be decent, but it's honestly not worth it.

Boards like this exist for a reason, to help you, the teacher, make an informed choice. If you make a bad choice after being informed, your bad, simple. I'd suggest avoiding this place, and all private schools, unless you have no choice. However even if you can't work for public schools because of education background, you can do much better than EF, believe me. In my mind they are not even a last resort. I think you will find most people will concur with me. However in the end you can choose to cling to the hope that one "must" be good, and convince yourself to work there. If you do, I say good luck to you, because you'll need it.
