@Turnoi
Your assumptions about me and others who actually live and work here in china as opposed to living elsewhere are getting to be tiresome. The fact is there are plenty of people who are qualified to be teaching here. Although they may not have a degree relevant to English language teaching (like you friend Silverboy) they do have other qualifications which enable them to be profficient teachers.
My Masters in Social Work obtained at a reputable university has given me the oppurtunity to understand a wide variety of issues that will present themselves in a classroom that someone with a degree in business might not recognize. To ignore all the different experiences of the teachers here is just ridiculous.
Usually it is a non native speakers greatest defense to proclaim that a native speakers grammar shows their inability to effectively teach English. I have met many Chinese English teachers extremely proud of their ability to write well and will point that fact out to me as often as they can. The problem however is they can barely speak a sentence let alone a string of sentences. They arrogantly believe that because they have a piece of paper that says they are so well educated that they are on the same level with an English speaker.
My using colloquial English such as "gonna", "wanna" and the like is from an assumption that on these posts are other native English speakers that will not be a stickler for correct form. If I had known that there would be those pouring over my every single word I might have more of an effort, but then again I am not because really it is not as important as you say.
As for bad names it is people like you who come here with your arrogant attitude and holier than thou approach to life that really gives foreigners a bad name.
