Dear Readers,

just a note of caution and a sincere concern to anyone who does not want to get tangled up with a bad school. Avoid Beanstalk if you can. This school has no idea how to operate an educational institution,or get along with professional teaching staff. They have, approximately, a 75% turn over of teachers each year. Most of them are qualified and good mannered souls who feel neglected and hurt, and leave within a year, or at the end of a year. A contract will be offered to you via mail, but you may never get it back signed. Contracts are treated like a piece of tissue. They don't offer insurance policies for overseas and local hired teachers, no weekly meetings (only when it suits them), no workshops, or any professional PDs. However, they will be very friendly on the phone, give you an apartment and a low salary. Different salary to different teachers-depending on the HR. They hire some unqualified teachers, or teachers who have lack of teaching experience which does not help the already negative atmosphere in that school. 'Alike attracts alike'! The principle is a joke! Those who survive and stay for a second or third year are the bullies and players. The administration is messy, gossipy, and once hired they can become unfriendly. It is strongly recommended that you make sure that a school has overseas recognition and offers an approved curriculum.
Good luck,

yours in education,
Teacher
