Jungchul Language school, 4F Gumho Plaza 2nd ,875 Sutaek-dong, Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea

This school was a complete nightmare.

-The director terminated my contract 8 weeks before my contract was due to finish, this was to avoid paying for flights or severance pay. When I didn't agree to sign a letter of resignation he threatened to cancel my visa, evict me from my accommodation. He also said that if I took the matter to the labor board that I would never get a visa to work in Korea again.

- He deducted huge amounts for health insurance, 190,000 won per month instead of the average 60,000 won. He got aggressive and threatening whenever I asked for receipts. He owed me a total of 1.4 million won in over-deductions.

- I received no verbal or written warnings from him prior to my dismissal. After 10 days into the 30 days notice he told me to move out of my apartment and not come back to work. He made me move out the day after Christmas.

- I finally had to take him to the labor court to try to get my back-pay and the over deductions. I got my money in the end, but I didn't get any severance or flights.

Really wouldn't recommend this school.
