Manila is insane and the lead teacher is the puppet that Bull shits you into coming over and having a great time and experience teaching at this concentration camp. I wish the lead teachers (Dan and Matt) could watch Band of Brothers because this place is like going to war every single day. You will have no job security and constantly be micro-managed by people that are out for themselves and will stab you in the back. This place will force you to work overtime and will not compensate you for it. NO HEALTH INSURANCE so bring money in case you get sick because it is coming out of your pocket. Thats right the contract is nothing but a script to get you to sign up and become one of their English teaching robots.
On a more positive note South Korea is a great place and offers a wonderful experience but this job will destroy you quickly. Tons of jobs here but avoid this place because you will regret it. I would advise teaching at a public school or thoroughly researching the Hagwon before. I read terrible posts about LCI but brushed it off because the lead teachers reassured me that it was just complainers that were home sick and spoiled. I have a solid work history and had multiple job offers when I returned home after fleeing this place, so beware and take this place off your list completely it is a black hole leading you to nowhere.
