Maybe it's not the best place in the world to teach, but you can move on to better places at your contract's end, that's for sure. However, I must state that I feel sorry for those who have decided to entrench themselves there year after year until they are too old to teach. They have deluded themselves into thinking their teaching is much appreciated by the director. They are people pleasers craving praise from their Chinese supervisors while backstabbing those of their fellow FT's they dislike or deem a threat to their continued employment there. How pathetic, but try as they might, those kinda folk can not shed their hicktown mentalities, which inevitably make them behave like two-faced grovelling weasels. Your school has imploded online, and as for the student who has joined in the debate, I think you'll agree with me that many Chinese are masters of deception when it comes to making excuses for their own inadequacies by blaming teachers, and that that student is one of that huge group. Should you ever have to post again to put the record straight after more rot has been posted re the school and its FT's, please do not hesitate to do so. I, for one am looking forward to your next submission. Other readers are too, of that I haven't the slightest doubt!
