Seriously Yangzhou doesn't have much to offer in the way of working as a teacher. The few schools which recruits foreigners include this sorry sake of a college as well as New Oriental (2 of them), Global IELTS (I know people who've worked there and it's like working with EF conditions along with Tianshou type salary deductions), Shane English, and WEB. We have already seen many complaints brought up on these boards by both students and teachers but actually more students regarding WEB. But whatever this is a small city with average hospitality and nothing much to come by in terms of modern entertainment.

You're much better off going to this city as a tourist, it does offer some okay construction in the central part of the city which gravitates towards traditional chinese architecture. There's also a famous street which used to be a merchant street back in ancient times.
