I see that I am not the only person, who has had a problem with "Annie" or "AMY" song, from the Kings English College and Sookok Institute in Changwon. She seems to change her name quite a bit to avoid detection. It seems she recruits for 2 schools that I know off which is Kings English College and the school I was to teach at, the Sookok Institute.

Unfortunatey I believed everything she said to me on the phone before I went to Korea. She guaranteed me a single studio apartment, 1.9 million won a month, cooking facilities etc. When I arrived I walked into a nightmare.

I was confronted with a Korean house, where one room was mine. The other bedroom was locked up and I couldnt enter it. The kitchen was also locked and I found out that the house was owned by a friend of hers, and I had to get permission from the owner to use the kitchen. I was told that if i couldnt get access to the kitchen at times, then I could cook in my room.....UNBELIEVEABLE. I abused her and called her a liar and a cheat, but it fell on deaf ears and she said that I had to accept the conditions and my apartment.

Luckily I travelled to Korea on a tourist visa, and told her where she could stick her contract. Fortunately for me, a friend of mine was teaching In Busan, and went and stayed with him. I am now teaching in Seoul and love it.

Recruiters like Annie Song from Kings English College in Changwon, do give alot of Koreans a bad name. I had my up and downs here, but nothing like what she would have put me through. Shes a total liar and very very deceptive. Please be careful when responding to any jobs adds on this site posted by Kings English College or the Sookok Institute represented by Annie or Amy song, the name she is using now on this site.
