SCHOOLS AND RECRUITERS REVIEWS

Oh I completely agree. I have read some glowing testimonials elsewhere for a school I worked at which has to be the worst place I have EVER worked in my life. They had clearly been written by a westerner, or at least someone with very good English skills but what they had to say was undoubtably posted in an attempt to water down some of the bad things being said.

All my point was CL is that if someone is going to reply to someones post then answering the specific questions they asked as well as elaborating the exact reasons why they think somewhere is to be avoided as opposed to saying something along the lines of "It is a CRAP training center and should be avoided" would be a better thing to do and keep the posts on the rails and to the point.

Simply saying something is crap without going into good reasons why does not, in my opinion at least, make me 100% positive that it is true. It suggests that that person doesn't really have any specific reasons they can offer and also suggests that the person may just be a disgruntled ex employee or is quite simply trolling the board to pick a fight, there are people who get off on doing this out there and an unmoderated board is big treasure they just cannot keep away from. Before anyone pipes up, I am not suggesting that anyone here is I am just saying that is what it begins to look like when someone cannot post up some instances of what the problems are.

Also steering the topic off the rails and down the slippery slope to a slagging match just means that the thread becomes cluttered with irrelevant posts that having no useful info for anyone reading them and makes the job of finding anything out that much harder which surely disputes the purpose of the thread and the board at the end of the day.

This happens a lot on boards and moderation helps to keep that from happening. Sure sometimes the moderation can be excessive and unnecessary but as someone who has moderated boards in the past I am sure that keeping the threads tidy and free from irrelevant clutter is not such a difficult task.

All that said I am not posting anything else because I am heading into the hypocritical zone here by continuing to post on topics which have nothing to do with the thread.
