In response to Re International school in Fuzhou (Willem de Villiers)

There are no real international schools here in Fuzhou. If you try getting a job at the universities here you will have to travel to their university city which is about half an hour outside of town. The buses take people there but if you are unlucky enough to miss the bus you are screwed. Most of the schools here are looking for backpackers and people willing to eat crap for a low salary. About five years ago many of the schools adopted the policy of a 40 hour work week, teaching 20 hours then sitting on your duff for the other 20. Every year more and more schools are doing that so it is getting harder to find places that do not. If you come here and work at a school learn to say no because if you do not they will take advantage of you as much as they can. After leaving Future English for that reason I looked into a bunch of the other schools here and not one of them is worth working for. Unless of course you are willing to put in the effort, wait a few months, sell your principals off and screw over others. Then you have a pretty good chance to do well here.
