In response to teaching d guangzhou (smithers)

This is a very, very serious warning about Teaching D in Guangzhou.

The owner is a Jackie something-or-other. What he doesn't tell you is that he really works for English First.

What he doesn't tell you is that he is a master of bait-and-switch, bait-and-lie, bait-and-forge, etc, etc.

I can tell you this from my own dealings with him.

But there is more and this is what takes my breath away.

Guangdong Province ACTUALLY shut down his business, in a truly unusual move, about three years ago, because it was so fraudulent, so criminal, etc., etc. He was dealing in "questionable" visas at the time and he would take HUGE sums of money from unsuspecting but desperate foreign teachers (usually those without credentials, from the "wrong" countries) and promise them "Z" visas, "F" visas, etc., etc. Oh, indeed -- the visas were the in the passports EXCEPT that they were not real, as one lady can tell you as she was arrested when tried to take a shopping trip to Hong Kong with her newly supplied Jackie Chen visa!.

What a scandal that was and he just slithered away but not before the PSB had hauled him and arrested him. It was in all the Guangzhou newspapers.

There are 10,000 con men in Guangzhou; it's a city of the con but Jackie Chen and Teaching D are not only cons, they are nefarious, illegal, etc,. etc.

He must have paid someone off again big time to be in business three years later.
