As to my post..I meant capitalism in general, the US isn't very old so it is pretty silly to say they introduced it to China.

Civil service exams..just referring to the concept of the structure not the philosophical flavor. Not referring to anything you specifically said rather using it as an example of common thought that US invented it. Other than that, I couldn't care less.

Linguistics...hmmm... prescriptionists don't count. They are a waste of space. Besides, never claimed to be an expert about anything...Only regular posters do that :).
