For all who are considering working for Buckland Group: I recently did a short stint for Buckland and, living in Guilin, I've known a lot of people who chanced to work for him in the past. With few exceptions their experiences were very positive. Buckland has helped me where no one else could -even after I stopped teaching. I know several friends who were helped and supported and paid by Buckland when schools (most of which are run by people whose ethics are just as, if not more, questionable than all the recruiters that we hear horror stories of on posts like these) tried to cheat them. If this sounds like an advertisement try going to the most trafficked ESL forums on the web at Dave's ESL Cafe and search for "Buckland" to find a plethera of other people's opinions... then search all the other recruiters that you may have heard of.

In particular look for forums started by a poster called "Jacob", whose only posts on the site are attacks on Buckland. Read thoroughly. (Notice the resemblance of his attacks to those posted on this site.)
After noticing the responses to these attacks also note the relative mildness of the attacks when compared to the poor reviews on other organizations.
