I am wondering whether "Fake Jake" Fischer is the same Jake Fischer who lives on the same floor as me at Suzhou Foreign Language School, the same Jake Fischer that I attended the George Gao erhu recital with, the same Jake Fischer who helped me set up a wi-fi connection in my room, the same Jake Fischer who I was talking to yesterday during rehearsal for the sports day parade,along with Andrew, Bill, Sean and Catherine. I hope these people really do exist because if they don't I have been hallucinating for the past six weeks. I exist and people can find me easily by googling "mike edwards tutors" or "mike edwards natural" I have no reason to hide behind a plethora of aliases. What amazes me is that moderators on this forum are content to allow one individual to post under a range of different, but easily identifiable, names a diatribe of abuse directed at one individual, one school and anyone that would post an honest denial of the accusations that he is making. It is my belief that independent forums should exist to inform prospective teachers about schools that they may wish to apply for, I will set a test for the person who has now been posting abuse on this and all the other sites; Do you think that a child would want to be taught by you? Do you think a parent would want you to teach their child? Do you think that an education establishment would want to employ you? Do you think that anyone would want you as a colleague? If you have answered yes to any of these questions then you are deluded, no intelligent person would want to have anything to do with you. The next test is to apply the same questions to me, Jake and all the other teachers at Suzhou Foreign Language School we answer yes to the questions not because we are deluded, but because we are actually employed by the school. And to anyone who is considering applying for employment at this school what would you prefer to do? work with an individual who was sacked for unprofessional conduct and has spent two years failing to accept responsibility for his own actions, lying on forum postings and whingeing about how unfair the system is or would you prefer to work with me, Jake and the rest of the dedicated team of foreign teachers? It's a no brainer really.
