I agree with a lot you wrote. While China does have it's fair share, I found the gulf region to have plenty of fawning, butt licking GW types, they would even sell out fellow FT's just to "get ahead", even with no real financial gain for them in it, except perhaps a renewed contract.

I often wondered how many of them were able to function decently and properly in "society" back home. Most likely, they couldn't...
