Shoddy treatment is never acceptable!

But in China there are too many Western losers who are happy to accept it. And I blame them not for that. You may ask why. OK, I'll tell you why; in my opinion it's because the bottom line here is 'work' parttime for a fulltime salary, local of course. And when I say 'work' I mean speak standard English that is of the simplest variety while clowning around in front of your students.
I suspect that in the Middle-East, for example, one couldn't get away with that. China is a paradise for foreigners who wish to do jack all for a middling salary. At the end of the day they're laughing their heads off all the way to the karaoke bar once a week. They're getting what they want, but are you?
