Beware of Boya! Boya is a private language school with 11 different schools in China. What they promise is not what they give, and their tactics are very underhanded. Although I communicated with this school very extensively due to past experiences in China, I was finally convinced to accept their offer. Unfortunately, I was duped. The biggest problem was that even though we agreed on a one month trial period, it wasn't until after I arrived and after I had submitted my passport - which wasn't returned to me for almost three weeks, that they informed me that if I chose not to stay, I would be charged 4000RMB for the visa. This underhanded measure was of course enough to convince me that I needed to get away as quickly as possible before other facets of their dishonesty emerged. However, I had to wait for my passport to be returned and found during that period that my suspicions were correct; they are indeed without honor. To add insult to injury, they have refused to pay me one dime of what they owe me for three weeks work and cheated me on the promised pay for the work I did for them in February.
In short, avoid them at all costs!
