I would like to answer your questions, as to number 1, yes they pay on time #2 if that's the rate you signed, you'll get it less taxes, apartment fee which is 260 for each of your dependent but free on your 2nd year, water and etc, that would total up to 900+ if your single and for the third, if you want something less rigorous/ less stress and likes to live an easy life, then huijia is a good place to chill. If you have family and kids, expect that you will all be cramped in a single bedroom apartment, the school is not family friendly, you will be "punished" for having one (LOL). If you ask something and they they don't know what to do then it will just be impossible.
All in all the school is not so bad compare to other schools. Try school shopping for next year, other International Schools pays from 35-45k US a year as long as your certified and well experienced.
