I am new to the TESL world and am just now looking for my first position abroad. I'm currently in talks with Shane English Schools in Taipei. I've seen lots of negative comments regarding the SES schools in China, but generally mixed reviews for those in Taiwan, with much of the information being outdated. I understand that one can definitely do better in Taiwan, but as a newbie, would SES at least be a good way to get started? I was just wondering if someone could shed some light on SES's current operations in Taipei or Taiwan in general. Any information is greatly appreciated! Firsthand experience, even more so.
