Case in point: an African I bumped into here has put on his cv he has a degree. But he didn't bring the ORIGINAL with him! He's been teaching illegally, and now wants to get a Z visa. Whether he can or can't is another matter, as his country is not one of the five that China prefers. A GREY AREA!
I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT A LOT OF FOREIGNERS HERE ARE THEIR OWN WORST ENEMY! When will they realise they need to pay attention to detail, the devil can be in it?
EVEN IF THEY DO THEIR DUE DILIGENCE, THEY CAN STILL BECOME UNSTUCK. So, they should arrive with cash reserves to cover unforeseen circumstances. But many don't, as we can surmise from newbie posts on here, and by reading cvs in that section. By the way, appalling English can sometimes be encountered there!
