I have interned for Andinet...and i can pretty much say that if you are bringing values there that don't fit with the society around you--then it will be a miserable experience--yet instead of taking personal responsibility for one's own shortcomings, people have the tendency to blame the locals there.

I had a great experience. Other people can too, if it is what they choose.
