Jiangxi Vocational College of Ahead Software situates in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The College has currently terminated/lost 5 foreign teachers, and it is possibly looking for foreign teachers desperately soon.

Please avoid working for the College at all cost. No matter how desperate you are to find a job, avoid Ahead, the reasonS are as follow:

1. Although Ahead would sign a contract with you, the college terminates contract with foreign teachers when the college thinks that foreign teachers are to become "too popular" or "too outspoken". When the college terminates the contract, she would only pay the terminated teachers one month salary as compensation, without providing any air tickets, although it states clearly in the contract that if a foreign teacher has finished a half a year contract, the college would provide a single trip ticket. Ahead does not keep any promises that she has made. Also, foreign teachers who worked at Ahead always feel like they have to beg for the salary every month, Ahead makes all kind of excuses to delay paying foreign teachers EVERY MONTH!

2. Ahead is employing foreign teachers without getting the permission from the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Jiangxi. It is commonly known that all colleges and universities must obtain the permission certificate from the FAB to employ foreign teachers, or the College could never get any work visas for foreign teachers. In the past year, 10 foreign teachers have/had worked at Ahead, however NONE have ever received the promised work visa (the Z visa)nor the foreign expert certificate from Ahead. A foreign teacher got into trouble with the PSB as his work visa had expired, and Ahead had offered NO compensation nor help to the problem that Ahead had created for the foreign teacher. When the PSB pressed the College for investigation, Ahead tried pushing foreign teachers to "turn themselves in" to the PSB.

3. Unfortunately, the management of Ahead lies too often that one could never tell if Ahead would offer anything. There are many more minor issues, such as your shower would never be fixed although you had reported the problem to 10 different people for 100 times, etc. Ahead overcharges foreign teachers for the so-called "broadbrand" internet connections.... and 7 foreign teachers share one kitchen with 2 pots and a microwave.

4. Also, Ahead claims to be in Nanchang, the truth is, the College is an hour and a half bus journey away from any kind of civilisation. There is only one bus going to town from the College, and you would often find yourself waiting for the bus for more than an hour at the gate of the college. The college did promise to provide transportation every week for foreign teachers to do their shopping in town, however, that had NEVER happened, or you would have to beg for it for 10 times to get one trip.

So if you are going to apply to Ahead, you will certainly meet some very pleasant people from the management who claims to have studied abroad and they gloss everything up, and make themselves sound as if Ahead is the most amazing college in the WORLD. However, all the above reasons should make you flee.
