About RuYi English School - 2006-03-19

If Mr Barry Donnelly is reading this, let me first say that I have no personal experience of RuYi English School - nor have I seen any adverse publicity about it either.

If, however, the abysmal standard of English you have used in your warning is typical of that which you used in the course of your work there, then I think you're extremely fortunate that they paid you anything at all!

In your entire text there is not a single shred of punctuation. The only capitalisation used is in the entirely un-necessary twenty-one repetitions of the word "Beware". Your spelling is dreadful too - as is your structure.

Furthermore, you should have been smart enough to have found out - without any doubt - whether they were authorised to employ you before you went to work there. Moreover, if your own documents were genuine and you accepted their offer of employment in good faith - did you try making a formal complaint to their local Foreign Affairs Office? It seems they dismissed you without notice too - that in itself was worthy of complaint as their contract would have stated a period of notice of probably one month.

My experience of foreign employment in a number of countries is that there are almost always two sides to any story such as yours. What did you do wrong? You must have done something wrong to have been treated like that after only a month. I suggest that your dismal command of English may have a lot to do with it.

No offence meant, Barry but you really do need to do something about your English.

John
