Well, actually, you are quite correct I feel. Many foreigners in China are planning to leave. I know several in my own area alone who are planning to go to the Philippines or Thailand, or maybe Cambodia. I will be going to the Philippines on a re-con mission shortly with another Australian here in Guangxi.

I will agree many are making plans to leave, or have already left. You are dead on here.

I don't really like the Philipines women in China that I have met, but another Aussie mate of mine who was married to a Filippina said they are OK in their own country, as long as you avoid Manila and go after the more educated ones.

I'd agree that in Manila, much as say Guangzhou, HK and Shanghai the girls there are useless. I'd still be careful however in trusting them too much.

Women in China now only care about cars and money, everything in this country is getting expensive now, especially Western food, which I still prefer to eat. The materialistic and stuck up women, the traffic, pollution, crappy weather, the constant nationalistic propaganda, it makes a beach city in SE-Asia look more and more appealing.

I would agree, the women have had an appalling entitlement mentality, coupled with a penchant for the latest apple gadget and clothes and skincare stuff and so on. The culture there demands it, expects it, and rewards it. Anyone who doesn't look up, is looked down on. Poor aspires to be rich, the rich look down on the poor. For a guy seeking a girl it's a rock and a hard place scenario imho.
