In response to NEC/Prime Education (Seriously Unhappy)

Hi, working in Saudi is a decision that should not be taken lightly. I have worked in the Kingdom in the past and it really is hit and miss with the schools and the faculty that you end up with. I found that a lot of teachers there were total weirdos, the strangest bunch of social misfits you could ever want to met. The schools will tell you anything to get you to sign a contract. All state that if you leave before the end of contract then you pay everything back. Non will live up to their side of the contract, and there is no one that they will answer to when they stab you in the back. I would really advise any person thinking about teaching in the KSA to give it a lot of thought. You will have problems, regardless. Everyone has problems teaching in Saudi, you name it, from the school or agent lying to you about the job, the pay, the flights, medical, transport, accommodation, visas, exit visas to the number of students in the class. Do not trust a single word you are told because you can bet you ass it is a lie.
