Tell me about it mate, some people pop out of the womb complaining and never seem to learn to stop. The Chinese undoubtedly can be a funny bunch, but if you are going to live and work in China you should come to terms with the fact that things are often done differently. I am sure that most complainers have never really fitted in anywhere. You can always tell the type, they seem to take sides with all sorts of oppressed minorities, instead of learning to fit it. I would advise anybody with a penchant for complaining, to take some time out, sit down and ask oneself, how can I change, even to deal with the unreasonable behaviour of others in a way that will not be of detriment to myself? Have you noticed how many complainers about China and its schools seem to stay in China year after year; it doesn't seem to make much sense does it? Good luck with your job and your school; if it suits you it has to be right.
