im from the philippines from which most of the illegally recruited and abused teachers are from. i'm just lucky to have landed in a good and accomodating school somewhere here in shandong. i guess, the reason why these things happen is because of lack of knowledge of what's with china as a place for employment. i was comfortable to come here since alot of chinese reside in my country so i was expecting of a good treatment which i have. though i met and heard alot about filipinos having these cruel experience.

i guess, it'd just right or us to inform each other of these ongoing scam since we are working in a foreign land where rules change faster than we know it. it's hard to anticipate the changes when we dont know whats going on on their minds.
