Your 'wife' is probably looking for a visa and she wouldn't want to let her poor 'Lao Gong' lose face, would she?

She already has indefinite leave to remain in the UK and no longer has to keep me happy to do so. it's very convenient, it means I can leave her in the UK and teach in China if I want to. She is allowed to leave the UK for two years at a time. She could become a British Citizen but that would mean losing her Chinese passport. She earns her own keep and even gives me money....but ,I didn't pick her up in a pink room or sleazy bar. She didn't have a pot to piss in when I met her-but, neither did I.

You are welcome to pull apart any little snippets of Chinese that i air......you do steer clear of actually explaining why my Chinese is wrong; and in deference to your criticism of pinyin use I switched to characters- I assume my use of that has been faultless? ...I don't actually think that i am the one at risk of losing face-am I right or am I right? hahaha-all good fun.
