Hi, yeah I know what you mean. I had worked for World English in Danyang and Zhenjiang cities in Jiangsu from 2007-2010. The investor n chairman Mr.Wong , Zhenjiang local. Was difficult to deal with sometimes, but for the school going through 15 esl teachers in 2 years that i seen, didnt work out for them. As keeping in contract with them, they went through harrassment and threats by Wong, if they would need to break the contract and head home or the work is not for them.

For me I was the only one to stick my neck out in that place the longest. I wished I did leave after my first year there in 2008, but It was just because of a bonus to stay longer. For them they take any students with mental or physical problems and expect us to baby sit them and put up with brat kids spitting in face, or punching. I had enough back in March 2010, when a student girl around 11 years old with a mental problem who liked hitting people, struck at me in the groin, and wanted to sandwhich it, so i restrained her and took her to office, when twit Zhenjiang local Joyce, protected her and offended me after i told her to disapline her. So i quit, walked out on them. They asked me to go back to work for them but i refused and began looking for a new job. Than Mr.Wong put a false police report through ZHenjiang Police to have my future Z Visa refused and threatened to make me leave China, threatened my family wife and kid too.
To all those esl teachers who have brains and not thick, I recommend you not to go ahead and apply through Danyang or ZHenjiang World English Schools, or you could be the next victim.

Dont believe in what chinese tell you, China is communist country, its about money, selfishness, bad manners. Sure they can put the sexy girl infront of you to make you change your thinking, but it wont work for me, I been in China 8 years and know everything there is to know about it. Im just trying to protect those from not being the next by Wong. Take care foreign english teachers please
