I want to give huge kudos to Australian International Education Program Management Center in Beijing, China. AIEPMC is a recruiting office for several schools in northeastern China. I have read all the reviews of horrid schools, the horror stories of pay and living conditions, and failed contracts/visas. From the very beginning, Tracy at AIEPMC work with me and was always available for a Skype conversation. Since I have been in China, she has visited me at my school twice in 4 months. She is very personable.

The schools are mostly good. I have heard of one that is not in a great location of China. But the school and the students are good. I am working with the Huajie Bilingual School in Ganyu. It is located near Lianyungang. It is a small city and not much to do in the evenings except go to the billiard halls, dine out with friends, to go to KTV. But, Xinpu, Lianyunganag is only a 45 minute bus or taxi service trip for all your entertainment needs. Huajie School has large classes (50-60) students and over 5000 students in the boarding school. Ages range from Primary school to Middle School. You work 10 days and then have 4 days off. The pay is average, 8000-10000 RMB. with housing, internet and most utilities offered. They will also get you an electric bike to a taxi service to shuttle you to and from school. There are teaching assistants in every class you have. The teaching assistants are awesome and are there to make you living in China easy and comfortable.

I really can not say enough about this company and the school. I really was lucky to have them as my first school. Although I would like to try another location of China for my second year, the horror stories about such companies as Wall Street, DD Dragon, EF English and a whole host of others really scares me. Please do all your research in advance. Not just on the company, school and location, but on contract negotiations. Research, research, research!!!!!!
