In response to Ghana Program A Scam? (Savannah Milford)

Hi There,
I'm Eric Arthur - the Director of Help A School Project (HASP) in Ghana. This organization is NOT a scam!

I wish my attention had been drawn to this earlier so I could offer an explanation.

Since January 2002, this organization has been placing volunteers in Ghanaian schools both in big towns and villages. Over 400 international volunteers placed so far, and still counting! In addition to the testimony of past volunteers on this program, I should add that my organization is duly registered by the Registrar-General of Ghana - and I have a certificate to show for it (which I can scan and email to any person who wants to see it)

I can give countless contact details (email addresses, location addresses as well as phone numbers) of past volunteers on this program. Volunteers on this program usually have been from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and other english-speaking countries, but we accept any person who has finished high school and can communicate reasonably well in English. You may apply at www.haspog.org

The $20 commitment fee was to discourage non-serious applicants from wasting our time - but even that has been scrapped now.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to clear the air about HELP A SCHOOL PROJECT, Ghana.
