I just want to warn anybody looking for a teaching job in China to watch out for this company. All the bad stuff you hear about them is true...the good stuff is what they have written themselves. I know this for a fact because I know one of the girls there who wrote the "Awesome Company" stuff herself. I was with the company for three months and trust me that was too long. I finally got my passport back after three months and I had to fight with them to the point of threatening to call my canadian embassy. They use the passports to buy cars in Japan...to save on taxes. You don't find out about it until the person driving the car is in an accident and they kill someone...the family will then come after you as the "owner" of the car. A friend in Changchun lives in a really nice apartment...they asked him to take pictures of his place so they could advertise that, that's the type of accomodations you get here. Another lie from TS. You are promised a certain amount like 4500 but you never get it...then they make you pay back 1000 for the visa and residential permit. There are so many awesome comanys to work for here in China...but please take my advice and stay away from these people. You are better off just finding a school and signing with them...which is what I did now. You can make a lot more money, and have a better experience. All TS does is lend out teachers. You get settled, the kids like you and then they pull you out without being able to say goodbye or anything. In Three months I was at a dozen schools...I lost track. I hated it. TS doesn't care about the teachers they care about the money and only the money. They get 10000 yuan for a teacher being there one month...you are promised 4500...but if you are lucky only get about 3500...ya something always needs to be paid for....ya big surprise. It's all bull. Please if you do sign with them know what you are getting yourself into. I don't know one teacher who is happy there.
