Haha, they only compare themselves with other teachers, lol. Not sure which people are worse, those 10-20k a month ten-bob millionaires or the loser back home Chinese trophy wife crew.

Earning big money certainly isn't the be all and end all, lol.

I know of guys doing business in China who are undoubtedly millionaires, but the last thing they ever talk about is money. OK, they have the odd indulgence, one guy I know will tell me of his enjoyment of driving his 6.0 V12 Audi A8 from Munich to Belgrade at a ridiculous pace in great comfort, yet will also say that if he was to retire now, all he could do is "drink red wine and die". I don't think money in terms of personal wealth is even a motivator for him, although the success of the business that he built from scratch many years ago, probably is.
