And not all Western teachers or deechers are "honest"...

Very, very true. Especially true during the current economic situation. The lower quality specimens of the human race tend to naturally lose out during such times and will resort to not so great solutions such as working for training centres, which despite their shittiness are arguably better than working on a zero-hours contract at minimum wage employer in the U.K, if you get a relatively honest training centre at least.

One problem is that these lower quality deechers have far more to lose than your average decent teacher. Some would even be left homeless. Therefore they will resort to absolutely anything to keep a job, whether that be simply rimming the arsehole of TC boss, taking on excessive amounts of overtime or spreading malicious rumours about other teachers, to solidify their position within a company.

I am lucky in that when I had problems in the past, I had saved up a good amount of cash and even though I was left a bit skint, I rode out the storm.

F**k ESL in China indeed... If I can agree appropriate terms for the latest job that I've recently been offered outside the industry, I'm off! It can be a nice easy job at times, but I'm not only getting bored of the lack of real challenge, but fed up of all the bullshit. There's only 1 more year of this left for me at the very maximum.
