Hello to all ESL teachers looking for employment in Beijing. I would just like to warn you of the "Best Learning" organization that has many locations in Beijing. I worked for this company for a year and would not recommend it to anyone! I am sure you're probably wondering why I stuck with this terrible company for one year, a valid question. The issue was, they strung me along promising to get me a Z visa, and promised to reimburse me 10000 for my troubles (visa runs). This company lies to its employees. Also, the people working in the head quarters (Anli) treat the teachers like garbage. They do not inform you if there has been a change in company policy, leaving you to figure things out on your own. The salary is decent for a foreigner living in Beijing, but you have to take the cost of a visa run every two or three months into consideration (in the end it's not such a great deal). There are so many other great jobs in Beijing, don't fall for this trap!
