I agree with Thomas that many people at Shane would not find gainful employment elsewhere, and completely agree that the recruiters hold a lot of this blame. I know from my recruitment and that of others that they will say anything to get people to arrive there, before they find out the truth.

Additionally, some of the teachers there are good teachers and really do contribute towards their students' learning. However this has nothing to do with the school and is purely down to an individual's sense of responsibility.

That said, the OP did complete her contract, and as such it would not have been fair for her to receive any kind of 'black mark' against her name when she did what was asked and expected of her.
