Interesting post John. Despite being a "guangdonger" tefler for many years, I never went down to Hainan. To be honest I thought it overrated. How is Sanya vis a vis the rest of the island? I think I have a mate in Haikou, I shall have to ask him what it is like.

Wenchang Chicken is great though, no doubt about that. The southerners know how to cook and roast the chicken and the geese.

Vietnam eh? Got a mate there also, but not convinced it would be as good as China for working, unless anyone else knows otherwise?
