I've just been doing some rough calculations regarding the oral English teaching business in Yuncheng.

An FT on 20 classes a week working for Harry teaches at least 1000 students. The middle school gets 1000 X 360 Yuan for one academic year from each student = 360000 Yuan. The total cost borne by the company will be around 10000 Yuan per month for 10 months. This figure includes the FT's accommodation, his salary, his other benefits, such as air fare allowance, the salary of his TA, and HR costs, as well as the rental of the company HQ in Yuncheng. So, we can expect the company to bill the middle school for 160000 Yuan at most. It looks like the school is fleecing the parents. Just my take on the business there. It might well be inaccurate.
