In response to Re Yuncheng IELTS, what's up? (Charles)

If someone with a degree and a teaching cert and experience gets a salary of 5000 - 6000 RMB/month at Yuncheng IELTS, why should someone without a degree and proper teaching certification earn the same? Non-degree holders like "Charles" and his "friend" should get 50 % less, that is between 2500 - 3000 RMB/month.

I didn't say that I didn't have a degree; you're making that up. As for the rest, I agree with you in theory. You are so right, a native born English speaker without a degree, can probably expect to command less money than a native born speaker with a degree; that would be fair. By the same token said degreeless chap would expect to command considerably more than a second language English teacher with degrees protruding from his person like a porcupine. We mustn't lose sight of the fact that our degreeless hero has been training since he took his first sips of formula "have a little bit more, Tommy, don't cry for mummy!"
