I don't know if you have posted under any other aliases, but i will agree with you on this post no matter any possible past disagreements we may have had.

The ESL world indeed has people who do only research and barely teach due to having obtained higher titles in academia. Unfortunately more knowledge for these folks is not used to better the world and bring hope in others, but to manipulate and exploit the real experiences of teachers who actually work in both the private and public sectors of education; using their experiences as an agenda furthering tool. The more some academic snobs know, the more courage they give themselves to bully other people. These types and grovelling weasels are 2 sides of the same coin. 1 type is a low character person with no academic credentials, the other is a low character person with academic credentials. Nothing more than that.
