Make no mistake, the days when the Chinese employed almost everybody to teach English, are long gone by. They now can afford to be more picky and choose the suitable candidate applying for a job. Requirements on the initial qualifications of the applicant have also become higher, and everyone continuing to dream the dream of a degree-less native speaker without the necessary academic and professional teaching qualifications (oh, eye that's China....) will soon learn that he is not in demand anymore. He will perhaps then bake pies with flies that nobody wants and hopefully be shown the door and told to piss off!

Excuse me please. If you want to discredit our pastry poster will silly rhymes of 'flies and pies' that's one thing; but please don't exaggerate to such a ludicrous extent that he would be as dull as ditchwater and completely uneducated enough to say (oh, eye that's China....) I rather think he would not make such an error, being a northerner, and know his eye from his Aye. Anyway for your information the term 'Aye' is certainly not antiquated and used throughout the English speaking world.

Reading and writing, eh? You'll be popular with your students; especially teaching the latter. It's my experience that youngsters with degrees in English know sod all about how to use, for example, Parentheses, Brackets, and Braces. It is also my experience that the middle-aged degreeless native English Speaker, because he cannot rely on a degree to prove himself, has self-learned all the little bits of grammar that the degree-holder doesn't know, or hasn't bothered about learning. No need he thinks, I have my degree.

Chinese English teachers do a fine job, but they do need a native born English teacher; either a degreeless hero one. Or a degree-holder. They do not need another second language individual to mislead the students. Trust me, that get a lot of simple things wrong. All who agree, say, Aye.
